The GWAEA Digital Learning team loves to learn along with our amazing teachers. Each spring we come together to discuss what summer learning we would like to provide. This summer we have planned a 4Cs Summer Camp, based around Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical thinking.

Camp will be held for two and a half days (July 24-26). The first two days will give you the opportunity for some learning around each one of the ‘Cs’, with the ability to go fast or go slow. In the morning, roll call will consist of a short ignite session with your very own DLGWAEA! Followed by, two sessions of  conference(-ish) style sessions based around one of the four 'Cs'. Then, take time to reflect on how you might integrate what you've learned during campfire discussion.  Our afternoons will be a bit more flexible and campers can choose their path by attending another learning session, attending a small work group, or developing curriculum ideas. And you know we are going to work some Makerspace fun (aka Cabin Challenges) in there! We'll finish our day with mail call!

The last (half) day, we will learn from Dr. Bob Dillon, author of The Space: A Guide for Educators (and others!), to learn how to provide learning environments that are conducive to the 4Cs. His ideas are so simple and practical and don’t require a huge investment! We are thrilled he is revisiting GWAEA!

So come on! What are you waiting for? Camp is calling!
