- "You have to have a special space." Making can happen in your classroom! It works best when it is tied into the curriculum.
- "I don't have the time." Set a time limit for the day. It doesn't have to happen all in one day.
- "Makerspaces are a fad." Investing in creativity isn't a fad.
- "It doesn't tie into my curriculum." Focus on the growth mindset and critical thinking. Be intentional when tying it into the curriculum for the students.
